I've had a perfect 10/10 stay for a weekend. I truly enjoyed the hotel, its spotless and compact room. - Consistently courteous staff. - the venue had an ideal location very close to Wilhelm Marx House.

very helpful and considerate English-speaking staffs. the wide-range of selections of breakfast is very worthy. close to the hbf train station.

the internet coverage inside the rooms are bit weak and my single room facing west was a bit small and hot in the afternoon. btw, no air-con but a small fan in the room.

We really just wanted a central location in dusseldorf and we got it where the monopol hotel is situated. Also the staff were very good as was breakfast.

The only thing I thought was missing in the rooms was air conditioning .

The staff here offered excellent service, and the room was tidy and had everything we needed, like an extra bed and a phone.

The hotel was located nicely close to the central railway station and it wasn't a long walk to near u-bahn station or to the shopping centre. The breakfast was very satisfying! Nice staff.

Location is good - right in between the train station and the Ko- allee. Approx. 7 min walk to both of them. The room was big, and staff very helpful.

Breakfast. It was no vegetables, poor choice of bread, very very simple. And very bad coffee - almost like water (something I didn't expect from a German hotel).

Hotel Monopol in Dusseldorf is definitely the best budget hotel. The staff is really helpful and the rooms are compact. The hotel offers good services, and a lovely restaurant that was a definite bonus.

The Hotel staff are very friendly & helpful, our room was fine but was not kept quite the way we would have liked, as our stay was for 5 days & the weather was warm & humid our sheets were not changed at all in that time. The breakfast buffet was everything you would expect of Germany, Excellent. Overall we had a good stay.

Other than the bedding not being changed often enough, there was not anything to dislike.
